3. Indications for Use.

Used for treatment of strongyloidosis, disease of hook work, ascariasis, disease of flesh worm, enterobiasis, infection of pork tapeworm, mixed helminthoses and echinoccocosis.

4. Action

Vermox works as an agent for anthelminthic pluripotential; the treatment with this medication is the most efficient in case of enterobiasis. Vermox supports the irreversible harm to the glucose utilization in the body of helminth, as well as it can hamper the ATP synthesis (adenosine triphosphate). 5. Posology and Administration

For treatment of echinoccocosis the medication should be taken in the dose of 500mg 2 times a day for the first three days, and then the same dosage should be taken three times a day in the following days of treatment. In further treatments it is administered in the dose of 25-30mg per one kg of weight, which should be taken 3-4 times a day.
All family members should be treated at the same time.

6. Counterindications

Manifestations of liver functioning disorders, periods of lactation and pregnancy, child ages of 2 years old and younger, hypersensitivity to the active ingredient of the drug.

It is not allowed to take any kind of alcohol within the first 24 hours after therapy of Mebendazole. No detersive remedy should be taken after treatment with Mebendazole.
